What is Pangaea Consulting?

We interpret Pangaea – Greek for ‘all lands’ – as encompassing the world’s rich diversity of people and cultures, places and ideas. Pangaea Consulting seeks solutions to challenges facing government, private and community organisations by drawing on the richness and depth found in different peoples, places and ideas across the globe. Similar to applying lessons from the mid-1980s “New Zealand Experiment” to countries overseas, at Pangaea Consulting we seek to learn from others, to stimulate and challenge thinking, to find new approaches and to ensure, when doing so, that we can ‘make it happen.’

Our Services

At Pangaea Consulting we can work from concept through strategy and implementation – or at discrete phases or points when you need some fresh thinking. We apply technical experience with a way of working that stretches thinking to find new solutions and challenge the status quo. We are very practical about implementation to ensure your valuable time is put to best use. If your needs require a specific subject expert, we have a great associate network to connect you to, giving you exactly what you need.

Whether your need is for a product/project start up, an organisational realignment, an inquiry about global best practice or you just need an extra pair of hands - writing a research or board paper or developing strategic or operational policy – we offer solid, consistent, high quality free and frank advice, served straight-up. We will not sugar coat challenges or potential roadblocks, choosing instead to work with you for the best solution that mitigates risk and maximizes outcomes.
